When arriving in the Peterson Air Force Base area, the nearest major airport is the Colorado Springs Airport which is located about 7 miles from the base. Another major airport is the Pueblo Memorial Airport which is located about 41 miles from Peterson Air Force Base. Taxi service is available from the airport. If arriving by car, follow the road exiting the airport and turn right on Powers Boulevard. Stay on Powers about six miles and then turn right at the Airport Road intersection. Turn right at the next light, and you will enter the Peterson Air Force Base West Gate.
